THE STORY
The idea for Kelleher Communications was launched on an unbearably humid evening in 2001 on Carrie’s porch in Dallas, Texas. That evening, Carrie & Heather knew they wanted to share their sales spunk, marketing moxie and uncanny knack for driving growth to the masses. One of the many things that sets Kelleher Communications apart is the ability to work with clients located anywhere in the USA and still deliver incredible results.

HEATHER CARMICHAEL – CO-FOUNDER/ DIRECTOR
Heather Carmichael is the co-founder of Kelleher Communications, a business consulting firm specializing in managing growth, media relations, and business development services, primarily for startup companies and nonprofits. She typically works with organizations consisting of 5 to 50 employees, energizing and accelerating how teams think, act and perform. Through these methods she increases sales, improves customer service and develops key business processes to positively impact shareholder value.
Heather also co-founded the Austin Musicians’ Housing Initiative, a non-profit offering affordable housing for musicians in the Live Music Capitol of the World. Previously, Ms. Carmichael served as the campaign manager for Carrie Kelleher’s 1998 U.S. Congressional campaign in the heart of Dallas, Texas. In addition, Ms. Carmichael has experience as an operations executive and as a sales manager in other start-up companies.
A five-time previously published author, Heather recently published a children’s book, Ellie Finds a New Home, and loves being 1st time Mom. She can often be found out and about enjoying Austin, TX with her family or watching her favorite live bands. Carmichael holds a BA degree in Communications from Trinity University.

TONY JORDAN – MARKETING and CUSTOMER JOURNEY SPECIALIST
Tony has over 22 years of News, Commercial and Film production experience and also have over 14 years of Web Design, Graphic Design and Web Marketing experience. Another specialty Tony has is building out funnels and has been very successful in helping businesses reach new sales with Customer Success Software. He has also designed websites for over 100 clients and managed Social Media campaigns and even wrote a book on SEO. It is this combination of that experience that we feel makes him a valuable team member.

ASHTON RONDON – PROJECT MANAGER
Ashton Rondon is a marketing, PR, and project management strategist who has supported local, national, and global clients in 34 industries to increase their brand awareness, community engagement, operational efficiency, partnerships, and revenue. Her work has been featured in some of the most prestigious media outlets in the world, including trade publications, local news stations, Oprah Magazine, Rolling Stone, Forbes, Adweek, Psychology Today, the Huffington Post, and more.
Rondon is also passionate about empowering female leaders to disrupt inequitable systems by prioritizing healing and growth through the Self-Werk Method™. She founded Women Who Werk in 2015, and to date, thousands of women have attended her interactive training, coaching sessions, workshops, and summits to gain access to the resources they need to create a life where they thrive.
In her downtime, Rondon enjoys being a mom, conquering the world with her husband, spending time with family and loved ones, indulging in self-care activities, watching novelas, cooking, dance nights, traveling, and creative writing.
